Key Findings:
  • Governor Irungu Kangat’a (Murang’a County) tops as the most performing Mount Kenya governor with 63.2%, followed by Anne Waiguru (Kirinyaga County) at 61.8%, then Kahiga Mutahi (Nyeri County) at 59.4%
  • Senator John Methu (Nyandarua) led as best performing Mount Kenya Senator at 68%, followed by Joe Nyutu (Muranga) and John Kinyua (Laikipia).
  • Rahab Mukami of Nyeri led in the Mount Kenya Woman Reps approval at 65.4%, followed by Betty Maina (Muranga) and Njeri Maina (Kirinyaga).
  • Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro led the Mount Kenya MPs at 74.3%, followed closely by Gathoni wa Muchomba (Githunguri) at 71.8%, then Martha Wangari of Gilgil at 68.5%
  • The cross-cutting key Issues were illicit Brew, coffee, Tea, unemployment etc
  • The Leader of Mount Kenya is H.E Rigathi Gachagua at 86.1%
