Key Findings:
- Members of the public are not yet conversant with the internal workings and procedures of NMS, with regards to public participation, progress reporting, oversight and office accessibility.
- NMS scored 72.7% in County Public Works, with reported improved service delivery in 3 out of 4 transferred functions.
- There is uncertainty over NMS role in County Health, in light of Ministry of Health’s Covd-19 involvement.
- Concerns over County Planning & Development operations, especially the publicized demolition at Kariobangi and Ruai lands.
- No corruption cases heard or read about by 97.8% of the respondents in the first 100 days of NMS.
- 64.6% of Nairobi residents support transfer of all county functions to NMS till 2022. Those who disagree cite concern over its effect on devolution.
